ModelPuddle ("we") runs modelpuddle.com and the puddle command-line tool. This page explains what we collect, why, and what appears on the site.
What we collect
- Your Google account basics, when you sign in with Google: your Google account ID and email address. We use these only to create and identify your ModelPuddle account. We never request or store your Google name or password, and we do not access anything else in your Google account. Your visible name is randomly generated when you join, and you can change it.
- Runs you choose to submit. When you submit a run, we receive its record: the messages you typed, the model's replies, the tool calls, the final code change, token counts, timings, and basic technical details (model name and version, operating system and CPU architecture).
- CLI connections. When you connect the puddle CLI, we store a record of that connection (a label such as your device name, and when it was created and last used) so you can see and revoke it.
- A session cookie, to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
- A profile picture, if you upload one. We keep only a resized PNG copy, never the original file or its EXIF metadata.
Runs you play but do not submit stay on your own computer. We never receive them.
What appears on the site
ModelPuddle is built around learning from each other's solutions. Everything you submit is visible to everyone: your generated or chosen name, your submitted runs (including everything you typed and everything the model replied), your scores and your place on the leaderboards. Do not type anything into a run that you would not want published. A profile picture you upload is public. Your email address is never shown on the site.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use third-party analytics.
Where it is stored
On a server we operate at DigitalOcean. Sign-in is handled by Google, under Google's own privacy policy.
Deleting your data
You can revoke a CLI connection at any time from your settings. To delete your account and your submitted runs, email us at hugo.cornellier@gmail.com and we will do it within 30 days. Published runs may already have been viewed or copied by others before deletion.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
